Iran sent a similar message to both the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council against Saudi Arabia.
The letter, presented by Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Gholam Ali Khoshroo, said that Saudi Arabia’s claims against Iran were unfounded and called on the international community to pressure Saudi Arabia to stop threatening to use force against others, according to the official IRNA news agency.
In the letter “Saudi accusations of sending missiles to Yemen could lead to further destabilization and chaos in the region, calling Riyadh to stop the language of threat and stop using force language, restraint and arbitration of the mind instead of threats and incitement.
The letter confirmed that the Saudi statements aimed at diverting the attention of the world public opinion from the “Saudi aggression on Yemen” and stressed that there are no military solutions to the crisis in Yemen, calling for a peaceful solution through the launch of a political process with the participation of all Yemeni parties.
As well as,”Saudi Arabia commits war crimes in Yemen, violates human rights, and the world must hold Riyadh responsible for all crimes in Yemen,” , adding that closing the alliance for all air, land and sea ports doubled the humanitarian disaster in a country suffering from diseases.
